Ask-away forum - run by community involvement
Do you like the idea of being able to speak to your neighbourhood officer online?  So do we! We’re launching a web forum, which is a way we can talk to our customers online. We know problems don’t always happen between 9am and 5pm.  Why not tell us how you think it should work? So, get involved and tell us what you need from the forum site.

 

Asset Management Focus Group - run by asset management
This group meets every 6 weeks and has changed loads of things from the kitchens, bathrooms and front doors we fit, to how much space the call centre staff have . All this was done with the help of what our customers have told us. To find out more please call Hazel on 01264 405543.

 

Aster Steering Group -  run by community involvement
Residents from Testway, Sarsen and Flourish (other parts of the Aster Group) meet together four times a year to talk about how each landlord works and how it can do things better. This is called the Aster Steering Group, (ASG).  People on the ASG group talk with other tenants, in their areas, to get their views and to talk about any concerns they have about our services.

Design Panel - run by development
Customers get involved in the design of our new developments.  They look at our plans for new sites and how they're built to make sure we get it right for the people who will live in them. To find out more, ring our development team on 01264 405598.

Income Recovery Focus Group - run by income recovery

This isn't a group of residents who just talk about money.  Because of what they told us, we've changed the phone system for the income recovery team and now they’re not constantly engaged anymore! To helps us make changes to suit you better why not join this group.  Call Hazel on 01264 405543.

 

Mystery shopping - run by community involvement
If you like making sure things are done properly, then why not become a mystery shopper? You’ll check our services over the phone, or in person, and let us know how we’ve got on.  We’ll give you everything you need to do it, and support you all the way.  

 

Learn how to run your own neighbourhood inspection - run by neighbourhood
Ever get fed up with the way your neighbourhood looks and would like to know how you can make it better? There are two ways you can make a difference.  

 

Neighbourhood inspections: why not join one of our neighbourhood officers when they walk around our neighbourhoods checking that everything's OK?  You can point things out to us and see what we look for when we walk around the neighbourhoods.

Or Community Pride may be the group for you.  This is a group for residents who want to keep where they live looking tip top.  They let us know about things they come across when they're out and about.  Their motto is 'if you see it, say it'. We give them forms to fill in which they send to us to sort out.

We have lots of different courses that can help you become more confident and help you with presentation skills.  This may help you get a job or change your job if you're stuck in a rut.  Why not take a look at our training programme for this year? Click here:

If you'd like to know more about what we do and how we work, we can offer you many other useful training courses.  You'll be helping us get better at what we do and, at the same time, give you the chance to use what you've learnt. 

 

Supported Housing Focus Group - run by supported housing
If you’re one of our older customers and have visits from a support advisor, then you can choose a way to get involved – there’s a few things we need to hear about from time to time, so you chose and we’ll be in contact with you.  To find out more contact our support team on 01264 405622.

 

Testway 7s - run by community involvement
If you’ve got youngsters with energy to burn, then why not send them to a Testway 7s activity?  It’s FREE and they’ll get to try anything from rugby to boxing to fishing.

This is a group of people who represent all of our customers.  They have a formal meeting each month to hear about and shape everything we do at Testway.  If you want to know more call us on 01264 405670.

 

Tenant Inspectors - run by community involvement
Would you like to check we're doing what we should be doing? Last year some of our trained tenant inspectors improved the look of our garden areas, checked how we choose our staff and are now getting ready to check other organisations.  Why not come and join them? Just give Nicki a call on 01264 405585 to find out more.

If you give us your time, we’ll give you ours!  If you fancy helping out in your spare time, then why not volunteer? You could be lending a hand on our fun days, or at our
Twice as Nice project.  This is a great way to meet new friends and learn new things along the way. We’re there, every step of the way, to support you. 

 

Younger People's Forum - run by community involvement
Our most recent survey told us that younger residents weren't as happy as our older residents with what we're doing. So, if you're one of our younger customers, tell us what matters to you and we'll try and put this right.
