The managing director
The board of Testway Housing sets the company's strategic direction and monitors its progress. Board members are responsible for making sure that the company runs smoothly and is financially sound.
Testway supports the principle that board membership of the company should be drawn as widely as possible to reflect the company’s responsibility to stakeholders including tenants, future tenants and leaseholders, local authorities, residents and other stakeholders.
Board members are paid a monthly salary in recognition of their participation in addition to reasonable expenses incurred.
Board members serve for terms of three years.
This Company wishes to ensure that board members collectively possess the qualities and skills required to take decisions and monitor the company’s performance.
In accordance with the National Housing Federation’s Code of Governance and the requirements of the Homes and Communities Agency, it's the company’s policy to try and ensure that board members are appointed who have skills relevant to the following:
