Tenancy support

What is it?

If you’re at risk of losing your home, Tenancy Support might be able to help you.

What support will you get?

The support plan will cover things like paying your rent and other bills, claiming benefits and how to keep your home and garden up together. It can also include help with anti-social behaviour.  We can tell you what it is and how to stop it happening.

We can also put you in touch with other people who can help you with training and getting a job.

Tenancy Support will help you to make changes so you can stay living in your home.

How does it work?

A support advisor will come and see you, talk with you about your needs and write a support plan.  The plan will show what you need to do to stay in your home.  Your support advisor will work through these steps with you.  Your support plan will be checked by your support advisor and updated regularly.

After six months we’ll look again at your plan and check to see that you’re no longer at risk of losing your home.  If you still need help, we’ll continue to support you.

What does it cost?

It's free to Testway customers over the age of 16. It's part of the service we offer to give people the best chance of keeping their home.
