Making your home ownership dream a reality
Testway Own Home is Testway Housing’s shared ownership scheme, which helps people to get their first foot on the property ladder by allowing them to buy a home in bite-sized chunks.
Testway already provides 5,000 affordable homes for rent to customers. With its shared ownership scheme,Testway can now turn the dream of owning your own home into a reality.
Shared ownership lets people who cannot afford to buy a suitable property on the open market buy a home on a part buy/part rent basis.
Testway Own Home makes buying your first home easier. We make the property affordable and will guide you through the buying process.
Once you have owned your home for a year, you can buy a larger chunk, and further chunks, until you eventually own your property outright.
Testway is currently working on projects to bring more shared ownership homes to Andover, Basingstoke and Southampton.

Some of the homes being built in Andover are special eco-homes, which help cut fuel bills and pollution being released into the atmosphere.

If you are looking for a home in the Test Valley, it may also be useful to also register with TVhomes, the Test Valley housing needs register. To do this, contact the Test Valley Borough Council Housing Service on 01264 368613 for the Andover area or 01794 527750 for the Romsey area.
Alternatively email info@tvhomes.org.uk, visit the website at www.tvhomes.org.uk or pick up an application form from Testway’s office in either Andover or Romsey.
